THREDBO

Through a rich colour palette inspired by the Snowy Mountains, forms and textures were utilised to bring a sense of warmth and calmness to mirroring the elegance of the landscape. Light and colour played an important role for this home, in particular the deep Newport Blue by Porters Paint, paired back with Australian timbers, natural light and soft tan leathers. The exterior colours Gunmetal Grey and Squid Ink trims, bring out the colours in the exterior stonework.

We selected a series of design pieces for their durability but also, the character and interest they add to the space. Leah added texture connecting the indoor and exterior areas through crazy paving and stonework. While indoors, timeless panelling and old school skiing photography prints were used.

By layering linen curtains and roman blinds, it added depth and warmth to the home, which made it the inviting holiday staycation for all guests that come to visit.
